About Let’s Get Physical:Corinna McKnight is a chronically single girl in need of toned abs and a hot date for a wedding that her highly successful, deliriously happy lifelong frenemy will be attending. The wedding is only six weeks away and she doesn’t have much time to make it look like she has her life together. Luckily, her best friend’s boyfriend owns the hottest gym in town and sets her up with Noah, the best personal trainer he has on staff. Noah Cutter is at a pretty good place in his life. He has a job and he loves working for his best friend, Hunter. Noah is in high demand, mostly for his talent, but sometimes for his body and Hunter has one very firm rule: no fooling around with the clients. It’s an easy rule to follow until he meets Corinna, who makes him want more out of life and leaves him straddling the line between breaking a promise and betraying his heart. Let’s Get Physical is the standalone second book in the Love Is…series!
Eek! This book was just too cute! I read it in one sitting and just couldn’t get over all of the d’awww inducing scenes! I am now fully a part of the novella length contemporary romance team! I also desperately need to check out all of the other books in this series ASAP! The only bad thing about this book is that I read it while hungry and my sweet toothed self is still dying for a cupcake (or donut really)!
While I’m usually in the give me a hefty tome of a book camp, lately I haven’t really been able to focus on reading all that much. So adding in a shorter novel like this was just the pick me up that I needed! Plus this was just such an adorable story regardless! I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers but I may now be a sucker for forbidden romances as well! I mean, dang, who wouldn’t be if it meant you got to sneak around with a smexy personal trainer?!
The characters were all really likable as well! Since this was a shorter story there was no opportunity for any groan inducing *drama* to be added. Which I really appreciated! I got to read the story for what it was without feeling like I’m taking a bunch of side quests while the MCs struggle to overcome their differences and whatnot! So I definitely recommend this book if you’re needing a little bit of a pick me up! Just be warned, there are many detailed descriptions of scrumptious cupcakes and cakes.
